All hire equipment, lessons and trips are subject to availability
Conditions of Participation or Hire
You must wear your buoyancy aid at all times when using a paddle board.
You must wear your leash at all times when using a paddle board.
You must sign our liability waiver. If you do not wish to sign this liability waiver we will not be able to proceed with the hire.
You must provide your address and valid card details which will be used to guarantee your booking. We will not retain these details following safe return of your equipment and will securely destroy them.
Breakages, damages and loss of equipment (other than fair wear and tear) may be chargeable.
You must return your equipment on the agreed date and time if hiring equipment. If you are late with returning your equipment and have not contacted us to let us know we reserve the right to charge you for an additional full day hire rate.
Payment for bookings must be made at the time of booking. Payment method will be discussed at the time of booking.
You can cancel up to 48 hours prior to your collection day and time with no charges and your payment can be refunded.
You can rearrange your hire date and time with at least 24 hours notice. Alternative dates are subject to availability.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice we reserve the right to retain your hire fee.
Covid - If you are required to self isolate due to covid we will offer you a future alternative hire date.
Sutherland Adventure Company accepts no liability for any loss, harm or injury caused to you through negligence.
Assumption of Risk: I understand and accept that participating in Stand up Paddle Board and participating in the water activities exposes me to many hazards and entails unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to severe spinal or head injury) and loss of or damage to property.
You agree to watch all videos and read all guides in the tutorials section of our website.
If you do not return your hire equipment we will charge you the full retail cost of the equipment. If we are unsuccessful with this we will pursue a Simple Claims Procedure through the Scottish Court System to recover the cost of the equipment and loss of future earnings.
