Service Description
Ever wanted to paddle a huge board with friends or family? This mega board is 17ft long and 6ft wide and fits up to 8 adults or 10 kids. Our base hire rate is for 4 people as this is the minimum number you'll need to paddle the board. We recommend there being at least 3 adults or large teens. Buoyancy aids and lifejackets are included one per ticket booked. One paddle is included per ticket. Bookings are for up to 3 hours. We will discuss a meeting time once you have booked. This will be based on our availability and the weather conditions on the day. Wetsuits are available to hire separately, we have from kids aged 6 through to mens XXXL and ladies size 26. Buoyancy aids are provided with your booking one per board hired. Additional buoyancy aids and wetsuits can be hired if needed, do this through our 'Equipment Hire' section. It is recommended to wear trainers, sliders or similar to protect your feet when you walk into the loch. There are no changing areas or toilet facilities at Loch Brora, it is a beautiful and unspoiled area. If you are coming off of the A9 make sure you travel to the centre of Brora and take the road off of the bridge (right next to the war memorial clock tower) towards Brora Heritage centre, do not turn off of the A9 a few miles south of Brora and follow your sat nav - it will take you through The Doll and to a ford, where the river runs over the road. We DO NOT recommend this route, especially if the water level is high. Paddleboarding is a weather dependent activity. We review the weather conditions several times per day. If we think the weather looks too poor to go ahead with your planned booking we will be in touch with you at the earliest possible opportunity and will offer to reschedule, or refund. You are liable for all damages and losses during your hire. A price list for this is available on request.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the start time. Within 48 hours the full amount is retained. All activities are subject to the weather, especially the wind. In the event of poor weather, such as high winds, lightning, heavy rain with risk of flooding and Met Office weather warnings, activities may be cancelled or rescheduled. Should we be unable to deliver the activity as planned we will offer you an alternative day/time or a full refund. Full T&Cs available on our website.
